Anklecast 40: Some Heavy Talk, Part 1

In today's episode, Big tells the beginning of the story that he is right in the middle of living. It's a bit of a weight loss journey combined with a bit of paradigm shifting journey. Sadly, he blabbed so long that he couldn't tell it all, so he will be back again (eventually) to tell you part two, and if it goes as well as this one, part three on another day.

More Progress!

A month ago, I told y’all about how excited I was because I’d made it into the 270s with my weight loss. Well, I’m even more excited today, because I made it into the 260s today for the first time:

269.8 baby. I got an Anklecast coming soon talking (in part) about my journey.

Thought I Was Pretty Much Done With Pez, But Maybe Not

Ooh, nice find at the grocery store this morning. Haven’t bought Pez dispensers in a long time, but I couldn’t pass these ones up.

Time Flies

This came up on Facebook today. Hard to believe it's already been a year. Life just keeps on going whether we want it to or not, doesn't it?

River's Edge Park

My wife took me to this park the other night that she drives past on her way home from work all the time. It's right on the river. I took this picture from a park bench that was about two feet from the water.

The bugs were going full throat too. I felt compelled to take some video as well. It's really peaceful...I was thinking maybe I'd use it to close out my Anklecast shows or something.

Jetfire

What kind of a geek am I that I still get excited every time I find a cool toy to add to my shelves, like this Jetfire from Transformers. I've long since run out of room, but I keep adding more.

Zombieland Imports

A Cost Plus Imports store opened up in the area, and we went to check out their grand opening. I found this popsicle making kit there...and I think I might need this in my life.
