Oh crap, I spoke too soon. Unicron is dead.
In my other post I said that everything was looking good, but it looks like my external hard drive (which I affectionately named Unicron) just died on me last night...AS I WAS BACKING IT UP TO A SECOND DRIVE. There's some kind of irony in that, like rain on your wedding day.
I'd lost the cord to my external hard drive in the move somehow, but a new one just came via Amazon, and now Unicron is back online again!
Plus I think the issues with my new phone might be fixed too. Got an email from support that suggested I perform wipe partition cache. After a Google search and a YouTube instruction video, and a few more Google searches, I managed to perform this thing, and my phone appears to be working better.
Time will tell, but it seems to be a good day for techmology. It may not be wack after all.
Don't forget that tomorrow is Harrison Ford's birthday. Be sure to hit the store today so your barbecues aren't found lacking tomorrow.
