I was talking to my four-year-old this morning about Buzz Lightyear and Woody. I have big 1/6 scale versions of them on my bookshelf. You can see them in the background of this picture from last year.
Little was proud to show how he was following in his dad's footsteps. He'd just gotten little Buzz Lightyear and Woody figurines at the dollar store. He said this:
"I have a Buzz Lightyear too. It came with a Woody, but it wasn't big like yours."
Worst thing ever. I couldn't help but hear the double entendre in it.
First of all, why does his Buzz Lightyear have a woody?
And secondly, that's right, son, I've got a 12-inch Woody. It's important that everybody knows that.
