Oh crap, I spoke too soon. Unicron is dead.
In my other post I said that everything was looking good, but it looks like my external hard drive (which I affectionately named Unicron) just died on me last night...AS I WAS BACKING IT UP TO A SECOND DRIVE. There's some kind of irony in that, like rain on your wedding day.
Anyone ever done data recovery on a dead hard drive? Any recommendations? Someone better than others?
