Comic Con

Rish and I went over to a local comic convention together today. It was pretty fun. Here's a couple of pictures we got while we were out.

I always wear my Dunesteef shirt any time I go to something like this in the vain hope that someone will recognize it and want to talk, but it's never happened...and surely never will.

Spiders are creepy.

The Baconator

After all the years of joking about Baconators, today is the first time that I was finally able to get Rish Outfield to eat one.

He says it's also the last one he will eat. It's not particularly good. It's one of those burgers where they took all the good stuff off for some reason. Like Homer Simpson said, "ooh, now without lettuce!"

Gonna Write A Cat Story

Had a new idea for a story today while I was cleaning the cat puke off the carpet. I think I'm going to call the story, "That Damned Cat."

Medication

I have strep. To fight this, the doctor gave me a shot of what seemed to be peanut butter in my backside. I am now literally butthurt.

Where Is Your Trunk

When people say I'm fat...that I have a big old, fat belly. I just tell them that it's that way on purpose. It's my Junk in the Trunk. Only that I drive one of those old VW Beetles where the trunk is in the front. Junk in the Trunk is what matters, right?

Only a few months into the five year plan, and I am already dragging my feet, and trying to slack my way to failure. Rish got on my back about it the other day, and so I'm trying to get back to it.

Space Opera Recommendations?

 

Just finished reading James S. A. Corey's "Leviathan Wakes" which was really cool space opera. And I'm wondering what other really cool space opera is out there. What is your favorite space opera book(s)?

Sonic

Went to the dentist this morning. They have this new sonic cleaning device. It's unbelievably unpleasant. It shrieks horribly in your ears. Worst yet, even wearing earplugs wouldn't do anything to help, because it's coming from the back of your mouth through your head to your ears. I'm amazed that my ears aren't ringing.
