Sonic

Went to the dentist this morning. They have this new sonic cleaning device. It's unbelievably unpleasant. It shrieks horribly in your ears. Worst yet, even wearing earplugs wouldn't do anything to help, because it's coming from the back of your mouth through your head to your ears. I'm amazed that my ears aren't ringing.
