I'd lost the cord to my external hard drive in the move somehow, but a new one just came via Amazon, and now Unicron is back online again!
Plus I think the issues with my new phone might be fixed too. Got an email from support that suggested I perform wipe partition cache. After a Google search and a YouTube instruction video, and a few more Google searches, I managed to perform this thing, and my phone appears to be working better.
Time will tell, but it seems to be a good day for techmology. It may not be wack after all.
