Whoops, I almost didn't make my goal. I'd written at work, but I still hadn't reached 1,000 yet, and when I got home, I almost went right to bed. Good thing I remembered before I blew it.
So, today's final tally was 1,088 words.

Eighteen percent. Instead of just three percent today, I jumped four percent. I guess it's one of those days where the picometer rounds up.

I saw COPLAND opening night, back in 1997. It was partly my affection for Stallone, partly because I saw everything in those days . . . but mostly, it was because of that line from the trailers ("I offered you a chance to be a cop, and you bleeeeew it!").
