This Really Bothers Me

There are crappy people out there. They take what they want, and don't give a damn about others. They say there's something like one percent of humans are psychopaths and as many as four percent are sociopaths. These are people that will cause harm, and they're a startlingly high percentage of humanity. You probably know a few sociopaths and at least one psychopath.

A psychopath probably wouldn't bother with this, but a sociopath would.

This is a common act in the toy collecting community. People buy a toy at full price, then go to a store like Ross to find a cheap toy that they can put into the box of the expensive toy they bought. The swap them out, and return the expensive toy, getting their money back and effectively getting the full price toy for the price of the toy from Ross.

This is what's supposed to be in that box:

They know that the staff at Walmart aren't going to know if it's the correct figure in the box, so they just give them whatever piece of crap they can drum up.

It's pretty frustrating for those of us who paid full price to begin with. It's even more frustrating for the people who can't even manage to find one of those figures to buy. It hurts the toy company's bottom line, meaning they will be able to produce less in the future. It's shit all around. I hate it and the people who do it. They deserve to burn in hell. Just sayin'.
