Worst Nightmare

Rish Outfield sells toys to those who are seeking them. One of the largest markets for him to sell to is that of Star Wars collectors. He hates to do it, however. He hates it, because they are the fussiest, pickiest, whiniest, most particular collectors of all.

So many times, he has sold something to a Star Wars collector only to have the person message him after receiving his toy to complain that there is some slight defect in the packaging that the toy comes in. We're talking the packaging here. The box that most normal people remove the figure from and throw away. These guys keep it, and they keep their figures in it, and if it isn't perfectly pristine, they complain and ask for refunds or at least partial refunds.

So, when I was at the store yesterday and I saw these figures, I had to take a picture to text to Rish. It's a Star Wars collector's worst nightmare.

What happened to those poor things? Did an elephant get loose in the Walmart backroom and stomp the living crap out of them? Or maybe it was a wampa or a dewback...or even fatass Jabba himself. I don't know if you can quite tell just how bad the packages are on those figures. I took some better pictures to give you a better look.

I think they could be trying to give away those toys, and Rish wouldn't buy them, because it still wouldn't be worth trying to resell. There would be never-ending thunderous complaints. Maybe it's a Star Wars collector's worst nightmare...or maybe it might be Rish's worst nightmare.

Walmart still expects $16.99 apiece for those war crimes? I might hesitate if they wanted FIVE each.

They're really doing the terrorists' jobs for them, kids.
